Race Day Packet Pick Up High Priority

Details

Duties will include distributing race shirts, bibs, and swag bags to race participants.

Race Day Registration High Priority

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

Duties will include assisting participants register, assigning a bib number, distributing shirts and swag bags, and forwarding information to the timing company.

Timing Company Assistant Medium Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Duties include making sure all late registrations have been provided to the timing company and assisting with any duties they may need.

This task may also include removing the start line after the race begins.

Race Route Ambassadors High Priority

Details

Duties will include directing participants on which way to go on the race route. This is an extremely important task especially distinguishing first lap/second lap.

Awards Assistant Medium Priority

Details

Duties include assisting with the Awards Presentation, separating out medals, giving out race-finishing medals after the participants cross the finish line, handing out top medals/prizes, and directing participants to photo ops.

Ice Challenge High Priority

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

Duties include setting up the ice challenge table, explaining to guests what CRPS feels like, assisting participants with the ice water challenge for 2 minutes discussing how the pain in their frozen hand compares to CRPS pain, and cleaning up at the end of the event.

Details

Duties include taking pictures of runners, sponsoring booths, award ceremonies, and prizes.

Food/Water Attendant Medium Priority

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

Duties include setting up water bottles and food for runners, assisting participants in their food selections, and cleaning up tables at the end of the event.

Prize Assistant High Priority

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

Duties include helping to set up the prize table, selling raffle tickets, assisting in giving out prizes and cleaning up the prize table at the end of the event.
